Since the poultry industry in Iran is the third industry with fixed capital and working capital (more than 5 billion dollars) after oil and automobiles, it is a very important industry. It has between 8 and 14 in the world. In the world, losses caused by poultry diseases are at most 3% of deaths, but the statistics of losses and deaths caused by poultry diseases in Iran are at least 8% and, unfortunately, up to 25% of deaths are also seen, which are caused by all kinds of viral, bacterial, They are fungal, parasitic and metabolic (such as digestive and respiratory diseases and immunosuppression). In this regard, this research institute and its subgroups can reduce the amount of this high economic damage to the country with applied research and due to the appropriate facilities and close connection with industry and university, having appropriate laboratory-research equipment and expert personnel. play an important role in the country's food security.
