
The First Private-Sector Specialized Veterinary Journal in Iran Indexed in Scopus in the Shortest Time
The first specialized private-sector veterinary journal in Iran has successfully achieved indexing in the prestigious international database Scopus in the shortest possible time.
The specialized journal Journal of Poultry Sciences and Avian Diseases (JPSAD), affiliated with the SANA Research Center for Avian Health and Diseases, has been officially accepted and indexed in the internationally recognized Scopus database.
Scopus, managed by Elsevier, is one of the largest and most reputable abstracting and citation databases in the world. It includes more than 24,000 journal titles from leading scientific publishers across various disciplines and is regarded as a key benchmark for assessing the quality and scientific impact of academic journals.
This journal is the first specialized scientific journal in the field of veterinary sciences owned by the private sector in Iran to have successfully obtained an “A” scientific ranking from the Journals Commission of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, in addition to being indexed in the prestigious Scopus database, as a result of full compliance with required academic and publishing standards.
