
Sana Avian Health and Diseases Research Institute (SAHDRI) has received the FAO AGRIS Recognition for the second consecutive year, in recognition of its active contribution as a scientific data provider to the international AGRIS network of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
The recognition acknowledges SAHDRI’s valuable contribution to the production, management, organization, and sharing of scientific data and information during the period from July 2026 to June 2027.
The recognition, entitled:
FAO AGRIS Active Data Provider of the Year 2027
has been awarded to the Sana Avian Health and Diseases Research Institute, highlighting the Institute’s continued active participation in the global network for the exchange and dissemination of scientific and research information.
With a focus on poultry health, avian diseases, the diagnosis and surveillance of infectious agents, laboratory research, and the development of specialized scientific knowledge, SAHDRI has in recent years contributed to the advancement and dissemination of knowledge in these fields through the production and publication of scientific research, scholarly articles, and research data.
FAO AGRIS is one of the major initiatives of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), established to improve global access to scientific information, research data, and scholarly resources in agriculture and related sciences.
The inclusion of SAHDRI’s scientific data and research outputs within this international network contributes to greater global visibility and accessibility of the Institute’s scientific and research activities.
Receiving this recognition for the second consecutive year demonstrates the continued scientific collaboration between the Sana Avian Health and Diseases Research Institute and the global FAO AGRIS network, as well as the Institute’s commitment to the sharing of reliable scientific knowledge, information, and research data.
