The Toxicology department is equipped with High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC-UV/Vis & FLD), Gas Chromatography (GC-FID/ECD/NPD), Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS), ICP-OES, and rapid test kits. This unit precisely identifies and quantifies toxic compounds including mycotoxins (Aflatoxins, Ochratoxin, Zearalenone, DON, T-2 Toxin, Fumonisins), heavy metals (lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic), pesticides, drug residues, and natural toxins in feed, water, and bird tissues. All analyses are performed in accordance with AOAC and ISO international standards.
